Dre. Van Dao, podiatrist, was born in Montreal. She is of Vietnamese origin and perfectly trilingual. She completed a minor at Université de Montréal in Audiology and then continued her studies at l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) in podiatric medicine where she earned her doctorate in 2015.
Dre. Dao was part of the first class to complete an internship of 100 hours at the Centre Hospitalier Régional de Lanaudière. During this time, she learned to interact with other health professionals and thus through this interdisciplinary approach, she is able to optimize the patients’ treatments. To complete her degree, Dre. Dao attended a four-month internship at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) in surgery, pediatrics and orthopedics.
Empathetic and devoted to her profession, Dre. Dao regularly volunteers at l’Accueil Bonneau in Montreal. She also travelled to Vietnam in December 2014 to provide care to the less fortunate. Her intellectual curiosity, her professionalism and her interest in the well being of her patients ensures the best and most suitable treatment for her patients.
