For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to work in healthcare — to care for others and contribute to their well-being. My academic path, however, began in industrial engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. I quickly realized the field wasn't the right fit for me, and I redirected toward medical biology. It was during that program that I discovered a genuine passion for medicine and recognized that I had both the interest and the aptitude to build a career in it.
After completing my bachelor's degree in medical biology in 2019, I pursued studies in podiatric medicine, which I completed in 2024. Each stage of my academic journey gave me a solid scientific foundation along with the skills needed to practice a healthcare profession.
As a podiatrist, I see myself as thorough, attentive, and genuinely present with my patients. It matters deeply to me that every patient feels comfortable, heard, and respected, and that they know they can count on my commitment to quality care. I believe good care goes beyond diagnosis and treatment — it also depends on building trust and truly understanding each patient's needs.
The knowledge and skills I've gained through my academic and professional path allow me to keep pursuing my goals and growing within the field of healthcare.
Outside of my professional life, I'm passionate about cooking, travel, and TV series. Travel lets me discover the richness and diversity of the world we live in — I find it fascinating how much human behavior, traditions, and ways of life can vary from one country to another. I'm especially drawn to cultural differences, traditions, and architecture. Cooking plays an important role in this passion too, since my travels introduce me to dishes from different cultures that I love recreating and adapting my own way once I'm back in Canada.
My experiences and travels have taught me the importance of patience, respect, empathy, and dedication to others. These are values I carry into my practice as a podiatrist — they guide how I care for my patients and remind me to always keep their needs, comfort, and well-being at the center of what I do.
